No, only monthly payments are supported by service providers through NPP.
As with Operators procuring a supplier, the NPP conducts a robust technical and commercial due diligence on prospective Service Providers. NPP implements audit trails, fraud protection, and payment timeliness policies approved by the Board.
Standard reports are accessible via the API and can be integrated with tools like PowerBI. Operators without the capability to use such tools may outsource reporting to a third party.
Yes, data is available via API and reflects live transactional information.
NPP does not provide pre-populated reports. We will provide operators with the operational and financial data processed via NPP for operators to analyse and report on however they wish. Operators can outsource this data analysis if desired. If reporting is outsourced, costs may apply depending on the third-party provider.
As part of the implementation process, the NPP will capture your signage requirements, and deliver the correct quantities and types of signage, much in the same way service providers do when rolling out their service today. The signage will contain a unique, 7-digit National Location Code (NLC) that guides motorists to pay via any integrated service provider. Service providers will all use the same location code.
Yes. NPP is a backend interoperability layer. Operators maintain their own signage design and authority identity, with minor NPP integrations to enable user choice.
Operators retain ownership of their data. NPP uses data only for platform operations, policy insight, and aggregated reporting. No data is sold or repurposed without Member consent. NPP do not hold any personal data.
